Network Logistics Leipzig-Halle

 

Netzwerk Logistik Leipzig-Halle e.V. started as an initiative of various regional logistic organisations and was founded in 2008 as registered association.


Currently, the association has 137 members from logistic providers, shippers of all sizes and branches to public administration to research and educational institutions. They all work together to improve the business activities and efficiency of the logistic region Leipzig-Halle.


The specific objectives of the network are reflected in four areas – logistics management, logistic Cooperation, personnel logistics, logistics innovation - in each of which operates one task force.


The Network Logistics Leipzig-Halle is part of the Network of German Logistics Initiatives.

PASSENGER TRANSPORT BY BUSES & COACHES IN THE EU-28
  • Motor coaches, buses and trolley buses accounted for 9.1 % of inland passenger transport in the EU-28 in 2014.

  • The highest shares of inland passenger transport among the EU Member States in 2014 were in Turkey (33.5%) and Hungary (22.6%).

  • In most EU Member State, bus passenger transport in 2014 was more important than rail passenger transport (exceptions: The Netherlands, Germany, France, Luxembourg, Denmark, Switzerland, Austria and Sweden).
